How To Get Away with Murder – Best Christmas Ever

#1 No one had a very fun Christmas apparently. #2 Like brother, like sister. Sam’s sister is a grade A bitch. #3 Apparently no one has watched any Law & Order, Bones, or any other crime show because they sucked at getting rid of the body. TO THE TWEETS!

The Intro: It must be nice being Annalise Keating and getting paid a lot for being a lawyer. Home girl stayed in a hotel for about a week and ate and drank from her room’s mini bar and ordered a bunch of room service. That’s the level I need to get to when I get old.

The Sister-In-Law: Sam’s sister doesn’t like Annalise and apparently she never has. They make it pretty obvious the first scene of the two together. But it also seems that Sam and her sister had some really weird connection. I mean I’m close with my brother but not THAT close. If there was a ton of evidence showing that my brother killed a girl, to be honest I’d probably be like “Yep, arrest him. He did it.” But my family is the type of family that are 100% honest with each other and we don’t put each other on a pedestal. I will say however that throughout the episode Hannah has a point. There might be evidence but there’s also a lot of holes. Holes that any junior lawyer would bring up in a courtroom. I will say one thing about Hannah though, she’s a ride or die sister.

Christmas Break/Vacation: Rebecca and HP spent the break together and opening other people’s mail. I would say that’s a federal offense but they’re use to breaking the law. After all they killed a guy. We also learn that during the break HP has been having nightmares. So Quiet Girl is rich (well her family is rich) and Spanish. But it also seems like she might be the black sheep of her family. I will admit that when she broke out in Spanish. I had to fan myself a bit, whew! Connor is really close with his family, especially his sister. In fact Connor’s sister brought him a “present”, a boy. Connor states that Oliver is his boyfriend, something I don’t think Oliver knows, and I really like this scene because his sister states that if their mother found out she’d start planning a wedding. I like that his family is open, accepting, and loving of who Connor is. Asher and Frank became BFFs over the break. Hanging out at bars, talking about girls and what not. Prom Queen is very good at pretending her break was awesome, when it fact it was pretty awful. So awful in fact that her fiancé postponed the wedding. Talk about a shitty winter break.

The Group: I really think Laurel likes the fact that they all killed a guy together. I’m not sure if it’s that she’s happy she has long-life partners now or maybe Laurel has always wanted to kill a guy. Who really knows with her. The others though seem to be having a hard time with the whole murder thing. Laurel gets the group together for a little pow-wow so they can  all express their feelings together. HP reveals that he’s having nightmares every night, that he thinks he might be going crazy. Connor brings up the fact that Laurel ratted him and Prom Queen out to Annalise. Why can’t they all just be friends and have sleep overs together?

Annalise & HP: As the series continues this relationship gets weirder and weirder. She talks to him like a mother. She protects him as is he was her own son. Can we just run a DNA test on these two and finally get the answer we all need to our question?!

Nate & Annalise: So Nate is married and his wife is sick. Nate told his wife about his affair with Annalise and she’s ok with it. I think that’s what happened? I’m not 100% sure to be quite honest.

Connor & Oliver: Still not sure what’s going on with these two. Connor tries to give Oliver a present, makes dinner reservations, and even invites himself to stay and watch a movie with Oliver. The end scene where Oliver runs up to Connor and kisses him. KISSES HIM! Oliver also confesses that he loves Connor. HE LOVES HIM!! UGH! I need them to be together. Don’t push him away Oliver. Connor needs him.

The Case: RIPPED FROM THE HEADLINES! I’m wondering if the writers were trying to imitate the Ohio kidnappings.  “My husband’s holding two girls captive in our basement.” That was the line heard around the world. Note that from the beginning no one but Annalise wanted to take the case. This case reminded me of that episode of Scandal, “The Innocent Man” where this man calls on Olivia to prove he didn’t kill a former president, when in fact he did kill the former president and he just wanted the credit. The guy played Olivia from the start, just like how this lady played Annalise. Yeah she “helped” the girls here and there but she still kept them captive and she still kept that other girl. I think the only reason why Annalise took the case and gave the woman the benefit of the doubt was because she needed something to take her mind off of Sam. Was it the best case in the world? Nope, but it did keep her busy.

Asher: He is taking D-Bag to the very next level. He’s being VERY disrespectful to Paris throughout the episode. He then tells her that she hurt his feelings. Asher if you want to be a lawyer then you need to be a good boy, grow up, and act like a freakin adult!

Frank & Quiet Girl: I’ve decided that I officially love them. They get each other, and I think it’s because both of them are damaged in some way.

Who is Rudy: So they haven’t mentioned the previous tenant in a few episodes. But all of the sudden he gets a Christmas card from his grandmother and HP starts wondering about the person who lived in his apartment before him.

The Ending: These dumb asses don’t even know how to properly get rid of a damn body! They had one job. ONE JOB! And they couldn’t even do it! Well Sam’s body has been found, now they’re all fucked.

How to Get Away with Murder – Hello Raskolnikov

How to Get Away with Murder is back! We now know that the group (more specifically Wes aka: Harry Potter) killed Sam. We know that Annalise know they killed Sam, she knows that Sam is dead. Now the only question is, how are they gonna keep the murder covered up? TO THE TWEETS!

 

The Intro: We open the returning episode with Annalise being questioned by detectives and flashbacks to what happened that night. We learn that when Annalise came home she saw Sam’s dead body, kneeled beside it and then cried out “SAM!!!” We later on see her seeing HP and telling him that he shouldn’t be sorry for killing Sam. That it needed to be done and then she pretty much gives him a step-by-step guide on how to get rid of his body. Again the flashbacks and the questioning go back and forth. During the questioning Annalise paints this picture on how she loved her husband and that she knew nothing of the affair between him and Lila until earlier that night. Here’s my question though: Is Annalise happy or sad that Sam is dead? I’m still confused about that.

HP & Annalise: This relationship continues to be weird. When Annalise told HP that it was her fault that he got into this mess and that she would get him out what did she mean? I’m still convinced that either their is some kind of sexual/romantic tension between them or that maybe she’s actually his biologically mother and she knows this but he doesn’t. It just seems like since the beginning of the series HP has had a special place in Annalise’s heart and now she’s covering a murder for him. The murder of her husband! Talk about dedication…

Interrogation: HP and Quiet Girl both did an amazing job during their interrogation. In fact not only did Laurel do a great job she also lied to make Sam seem like a creeper. Home girl knows how to play the game! Asher actually said “turnt up” during his interrogation. That could be why no one wants to hang out with him. He also calls the detectives peeps at one point. Bruh…. Paris did fine in the interrogation, mostly because unlike the students & Annalise she’s not hiding anything. Prom Queen is unlikeable when she isn’t lying and she’s pretty crappy when she is lying. It’s obvious that she doesn’t do well under stress and pressure. I will say that the lie she came up with to explain why Connor’s car was there is a half solid lie. I’ll admit that I’ve drove to a metro station further away from my house because my work had a parking garage across the street that was more secure than metro parking. So yeah, sometimes people will park at other places other than their destination. If you ask me Connor did better in interrogation than Prom Queen did. He painted a picture of Annalise being the hopeless wife, the hopeless hard-working wife whose husband turned out to be a murderer.

HP & Rebecca: Another relationship I still don’t understand. I feel like if I go back and rewatch episodes then maybe I’ll understand it but… During the closing of this episode when HP went to his apartment to find Rebecca and that tiny Christmas tree and they hugged and kissed I said to myself, “I don’t understand this shit.” Like bro literally killed a guy for her. I guess that’s love, weird love.

Frank & Quiet Girl: This relationship started out weird and it continues to be a bit weird. We still don’t know 100% who Frank is or his background. And same goes for Laurel. Maybe they’re both fucked up in the head so they deserve each other. But now that Frank knows her dirty little secret and he’s broken up with his ex maybe they can be together.

Let’s Prove Sam killed Lila: We still don’t 100% know that Sam killed Lila. I mean all the evidence is pointing at Sam but this is a Shonda Rhimes show (she’s the executive producer), so nothing is ever as it seems. However the group and Annalise are convinced that he killed her so we gotta find the evidence that proves our theory. The DNA test proves that he was the father of Lila’s baby. We already knew he was having a long affair with the girl. And then they’re able to get the data off his phone proving that he left New Haven that night and went to the sorority house. Now I use to work for a cell phone company and I’m not sure if you can actually get that kind of detailed info from a phone. The guy on the stand said, “But he was only at the coffee shop for 5 minutes.” If my phone can tell you exactly how long I was at a coffee shop for then technology is literally scaring me. I mean with that kind of evidence I’d actually be surprised if we found out that Sam DIDN’T kill Lila. Once again this is a Shonda Rhimes show so anything is possible.

Oliver & Connor: Can they please be together?!?! If Oliver is still willing to hack/break the law for Connor doesn’t that mean something? I feel like Oliver is the only shining star is Connor’s darkness.

Asher & Paris: Poor Asher. He tries so hard to be part of the group and they keep denying him. So it’s no surprise that after having sex with Bonnie (aka: Paris) he has stuck to her like glue. But she is making it really obvious that it was a one time thing and she wants nothing to do with her. I have a feeling this whole thing is gonna blow up in her face.

Prom Queen & Connor: These two are ridiculous and the weakest links ever. Throughout the episode Connor keeps saying that they need to go to the police, that they need to tell the police. The first thing Prom Queen does after her interrogation is run to Connor and say that they need to tell the police. What I love most about these two is that they actually thought they could convince Quiet Girl to side with them. Something tells me that Quiet Girl would do very well in jail though. I think Prom Queen & Connor should just go with whatever plan(s) everyone else comes with and just try their best to keep their asses out of jail. Because let’s be honest, neither one of them would do well in jail.

The Group: What a big dysfunctional group. The only people staying calm is Harry Potter, Rebecca, and Quiet Girl. I can understand why HP and Rebecca are so calm but I’m actually kinda intrigued by Quiet Girl’s calmness. The way the group was freaking out on the porch and when Connor mentioned going to the cops she said that she’d have no problem turning on him and pinning it on anyone who snitches. I bet Quiet Girl’s life motto is “snitches get stitches, and prison time.” I mean she ran to HP, who then ran to Annalise, when the two weak links included her in their plan to tell on the others and turn themselves in. I don’t think this group realizes that as long as they bicker and fight against each other they will lose in the end.

Annalise: Annalise is a smart woman. A smart, intelligent, calculated woman and that’s why she confuses the shit out of me. Her wig for this half of the season looks marvelous, I like it a whole lot better than the other one. I just feel like I can never trust anything Annalise does or say. I feel like everything is a calculated move. Like this is one big chess game for her. I will say that I loved the scene after she got Rebecca off.When those bitches in the bathroom talk shit about Annalise… Oh I love when she comes out of the stall and gives them the death glare from hell and they shut up right away. *snap snap snap*.

The Exam: That was messed up but funny. I wonder if that was a way of telling Annalise that they’re all in this together and that she will try to get them off and out of this dangerous game but do not test her.

The last scene: Sam Keating has a sister and she is not a fan of Annalise…

Glee – Homecoming (aka: Craptastic pt. 2)

I had no idea the final season premiere night would be two episodes. TWO EPISODES! I didn’t mentally, physically, or emotionally prepare myself for two shitty episodes. I wish someone would have told me! But alas I watched it, and I tweeted it. To the tweets!

 

The Intro: We open up the episode with a nod to A-Ha “Take On Me” and continue the drawing thing throughout the episode. We get a Blaine voice-over, which is rare, and we learned that he tried not wearing bow-ties and not gelling his hair but it was too much for him. OH THE INSANITY!!

Blaine: You were a character I really loved in season 2, and then slowly but surely (like all the characters) the writers made me start to dislike you more and more. This show once again proves that just because you’re part of a minority group that has a history of being discriminated against doesn’t mean you can’t do some discrimination of your own. As soon as Jane said she wanted to join The Warblers Blaine should have welcomed her, instead he didn’t feel the need to do the right thing until Will said something. I think what really pissed me off was towards the end of the episode where Blaine went off on Rachel because Jane decided to join the New Directions. Blaine, it’s not the serious and Rachel did nothing wrong. You’re just pissed that you didn’t get want you wanted. Shocker…

Kurt: Pining after Blaine, being Rachel’s “assistant/co-leader”. Oh Kurt, you could be doing so many more things with your life right now.

Rachel: I find it kinda funny that Rachel got slushied and it was by Becky. Talk about rough. Also let’s talk about how Rachel is now all about coaching the glee club and bringing back the glory of New Directions. I miss season 1-3 Rachel. The girl who just wanted to be on Broadway. The girl who wanted her gold star to shine. Not the girl who decided to give up her lifelong dream and then randomly decide to do television and then moved back home because that bombed in her face.

Sam: Apparently he knows that Quinn and Santana had sex together…

Jane: The diamond in the rough, the brightness to this dismal season. Jane has spunk and she isn’t afraid to get what she wants. She wanted to go to Dalton, so her family sued the school to let her in. She wanted to join The Warblers, so she tried out. When that didn’t work she was like, “Fuck this, I’ll transfer to a different school that actually has better academics, that’ll let me join their glee club.” Good for you Jane, good for you!

Roderick: Why are we calling him fat, first of all. He’s not fat, yes he’s probably slightly bigger than average but unless he’s 300lbs or over you can’t really consider him the “Fat Kid”. It’s also pretty messed up that his parents made him move his senior year of high school. Only asshole parents do that, or they HAD to move do to a job. His voice though… HIS VOICE! His voice sounds like a Barry Manilow angel =)

Gay Football Player: His little speech to Kurt was on point. Just because he’s gay doesn’t mean that’s all that he is. And just because both him and Kurt are gay doesn’t mean they’re suppose to be friends, doesn’t mean they’re suppose to connect on some kind of level.

The Twins: The writers will probably use the twins to bring comedy when Brittany isn’t there.

The Warblers: I see what you were trying to do here RM & Co. I think we all saw what you were trying to do and let me just say that it was ridiculous. The argument The Warblers were having about tradition and whether or not they should even allow Jane to try out. And then the nerve of a majority of them to say they’re straight. HA! Straight as a circle.

The Old Gang: Apparently everyone has the time to take off of work and school to just come to McKinley High for homecoming and to help out Kurt and Rachel. Poor Tina is still getting crapped on. Poor girl, can’t get a break. Also I’m not sure why Puck is always wearing his uniform. I think it’s a way for the writers to remind us that he’s in the Air Force. Now I’m no expert on the military but I did grow up and spend a majority of my life (22 years) as a military dependent, in fact my father was in the Air Force and the only time I saw him wearing his fancy uniform was for special occasions. Now I just talked to my dad and he said he would wear it when he was told to but usually that was for special occasions. So I’m not sure why Puck is wearing it all the time except to show it off. I felt that the Tea Party Patriot Club scene was unnecessary and not needed. That’s one of those scenes where Glee is trying to be funny, especially with politics, but it falls flat. The gang really didn’t serve a purpose during this episode but they will in episode three. Though if this was the real world they’d all go back to their schools and jobs and forget about their HIGH SCHOOL glee club.

*Kitty and Artie at some point broke up, not that anyone gave a crap. And Kitty is still at McKinley, but she’s only on the Cheerios. Oh and she’s still a bitch.

The Last Scene: I will admit that I liked the last closing number. To me it made sense with the story line, a nice way to blend the old kids and new kids together.

Glee – Loser Like Me (aka: Let’s Beat a Dead Horse)

If you had asked me 5, 5 1/2 years ago if I would ever wish for Glee to be off the air I would have said, “Hell no! I’m a Gleek for life!”. If you had told me 5 years ago that I would be rooting for Glee to end, for the show’s demise I would have said, “Mofo, you’re crazy. What have you been smoking?” Wow, how things have change, how the mighty have fallen. Let’s go over the tweets and then discussion. TO THE TWEETS!

 

So the only way to break down a Glee episode is by going down the list of characters and explaining what’s going on with them and why their storyline sucks ass. Let’s begin shall we?

Rachel: So Rachel’s show bombed. Like it REALLY bombed. It bombed so hard it was cancelled at one episode. What’s funny is, the parts of her show that they showed us would have never gotten a show like that green lit in the first place. No executive in the world would have been like, “This show looks so horrible that we should put it on television.” So not only is Rachel not on broadway anymore and she’s not on television, her fathers are getting divorce. So RM & Co have decided to sink the character of Rachel SO LOW that we just have to root for her… Um ok. So because Rachel has hit such a low and has nothing going on in her life she has decided to revive the New Directions and she’s going to be the coach… Remember when Rachel Berry had one purpose and that was to be on broadway? Yeah I miss those days too.

Blaine: Blaine and Kurt broke up. Surprise, surprise *sarcasm*. Because of the break up Blaine got depressed, his grades dropped, and he was kicked out of school. Blaine then moved back home to Ohio and he’s now the coach of The Warblers. Apparently in the state of Ohio anyone can be the coach/faculty advisor of a club. No need of a degree or any kind of certification necessary. So not only did Blaine’s dream of Kurt go down in flames, so did his education/career. Oh and he’s dating Karofsky! Yep, Blaine went from dating Kurt (who I guess you could classify as a Twunk) to dating Karofsky (a bear). The same guy that tormented and threatened kurt’s life! Damn, talk about lazy writing.

Sue: So I know that Sue is suppose to be the villain that we root against and what not but she’s pretty easy to like when she points out everyone’s bullshit. Also test scores are high and BMI’s are down. In American society that’s called a successful school, I’m just sayin. Of course like always the writers have her doing ridiculous things in this episode. We’re at a point in Glee where not even Jane Lynch can save it.

Kurt: Thank God someone is still in school! Seriously, Kurt is the only hope we have left in the show, which is actually kinda sad since he decided to do his work study in Lima, and only does that to win Blaine back. Also I sorta kinda understand the whole NYADA work-study thing. I understand they want their students to explore the world and potential careers but I’m pretty sure being a glee club coach in Lima, Ohio is not what they had in mind. Whatever, just please stay in school Kurt.

Will: The first time we see Will he’s dancing and telling his baby son to pay attention. He’s telling a BABY to pay attention to his dance moves! The only thing that has stayed constant with this show is the amount of annoyance Will gives me. Will is now the coach of Vocal Adrenaline and it doesn’t seem like they like him that much. Probably because VA is treating Will the way he was always suppose to be treated, like a teacher/coach, not a FRIEND! *Looking at you New Direction*. Also besides coaching what subject does Will teach?!?!? Seriously, what did he go to college for? He must have gotten his teaching degree in something!

Sam: Now the assistant football coach. Once again in Ohio you don’t need a teaching degree or any kind of certification to be an extracurricular activity coach/ faculty advisor. I don’t know about Ohio but I know that in the state of Virginia in order to be sports coach you have to also be some kind of teacher. But maybe Ohio is different.

The last scene: RM & Co purposely made this whole crappy episode simply just so Lea Michele could sing “Let It Go“. I’m so serious it’s ridiculous. It use to be back in the day the show runners would find songs that fit the episode. Now instead they are writing a whole episode to fit a song. Ridiculous.

Final Thoughts: What a horrible way to start the beginning of the end.

Scandal – Where the Sun Don’t Shine (Mid-Season Finale)

Ok, now I’ll admit, Scandal is one of those shows that sometimes confuses me… A LOT! There’s so many secrets and backstabbing and plotting, etc. But I’ll say that this mid-season finale left me asking A LOT of questions. So so many questions.

 

Like pretty much EVERY single episode of Scandal a lot happens in this one. Some plot lines continue and some new ones start. Let’s break down every one shall we?

 

They Didn’t Catch Rowan: Surprise, surprise, the President and Jake wasn’t able to catch Rowan. And not only were they not able to catch him they got several good men killed in the process. Not to mention also not B613 is shut down and Rowan is trying to cut his loose ends. Which means Jake, Quinn, and Huck all need to watch their backs.

Cyrus’ Sex Comes Out: Didn’t we all call this one the moment he had sex with the guy? Nothing good comes out of having sex with a prostitute! You either get a STD, get the prostitute pregnant (though not in this case), or you get caught. And if you’re somehow a politicians 9 out of 10 times you’re gonna get caught! The only good news out of all of this is that now Cyrus is getting remarried, which means that now someone will actually take care of his daughter since it’s very apparent that he doesn’t.

Huck: Oh Huck, forever broken, forever damaged. At least now though he gave Kim those files, which provide some proof that he’s not 1000% crazy. Granted how does Kim know she can trust those papers? i barely trust the newspapers, how/why would I trust some random “government” papers my ex gave me? Think about it folks… I think until Huck actually establishes a real relationship with his family he’ll forever be broken. But then also if he does establish a relationship will that put his family at risk? Damn if he does, damn if he doesn’t.

Quinn and Charlie: These two… Ugh they both get on my nerves and I think I’d probably like Quinn a little more if it wasn’t for her whole Charlie flaw. I will say that her hooking up and teaming up with Charlie is what turned her into the bad ass that she is today, but the fact that she keeps going to men that love beating the shit out of her also makes her weak. I never know what to think of Charlie. He is definitely a gray character. He doesn’t wear a black or white hat, he just does what he’s ordered and paid to do. Also, who else thinks it was kinda creepy when “Endless Love” started playing as Quinn and Charlie started to fight?

Abby and David: Are these two eventually, at some point, going to get back together?

Olivia vs Papa Pope: She was going to shoot and kill her own father. LIKE SERIOUSLY! She pulled the trigger and everything! That’s cold, even for the Pope family. Papa Pope is a man with words. You know that simile, “Your words cut like a knife.”? Seriously though, if Papa Pope’s words could cut like actually knives Olivia would be dead because that speech he gave her… Every single sentence that left his mouth was like another cut, another stab. I will say that scene really makes me wonder if he was ever truly Olivia’s father or was he just also trying to be her Command?

Mama Pope: “Girl you need to get a grip.” Love her or hate her, Mama Pope is funny and speaks the truth. Liv and Rowan are obsessed with each other. I have a feeling Mama Pope would rather just be in isolation for the rest of her life than to have to hear her daughter and ex-husband talk about each other every single day. How exhausting…

Vice President Nichols: Why the fuck does he want to go to war so badly? I’m just so damn confused! He’s sleeping with Mellie and Elizabeth, plotting his own fake assassination, and obviously doing some sneaky shit that deals with Olivia. Either this man likes war or he just really dislikes West Angola.

The last scene: In one of my tweets I said Olivia is like Sookie. I meant Sookie from True Blood (I still haven’t watched the last season). Sookie wanted both Eric and Bill and didn’t wanna have to choose. Actually at some point Sookie wanted Eric, Bill, and Alcide (but he died. I got to like ep 5 in the final season). Olivia wants both Jake and Fitz, but right now she’s choosing herself. See I just hate that a lot of this show had become about the love triangle. A show should never be about a love triangle, audience will only love that for so long. Unfortunately before sex on the piano Jake comes back to find Liv gone and wine spilled on the couch. I bet that stain won’t come out.

Grey’s Anatomy – Risk (Mid-Season Finale)

Wow, what a season finale. A lot happened in this episode but I think the main thing I, and other fans, focused on was the MerDer relationship finally hitting it boiling point. Let’s go over the tweets first and then discuss. TO THE TWEETS!

 

So I think the best way to break down this episode is by taking a look at each plot.

Root Canal Patient: To me this plot was about, once again, showing Derek trying to be dominant over others and again showing us that the MerDer relationship is hurting EVERYONE. Now this patient is not the first time the doctors of Grey Sloan Memorial have argued over which approach is correct and the way to treat a patient but I do feel like this is the first time that it exploded so much and that the doctors called other doctors to take sides. I do honestly believe Maggie called Meredith as a consult, not to stick it to Derek but because she couldn’t deal with Webber, neither on a professional or personal level. However I do believe that Derek only called Webber to stick it to Meredith and Maggie, and not only is that unprofessional that’s also pretty childish. Luckily though the patient survive and had no brain damage.

Japril’s Baby: It’s like not a single couple can be happy on this damn show. Jackson and April realize their love for each other, run away and get married. And then, SURPRISE, baby! Unfortunately Stephanie, of all people, discover something is wrong with their baby. Though I would like to ask, Jackson and April are both doctors and neither thought it was weird that their baby is constantly in the Buddha position? I’m just sayin…

Soldiers’ Trial: I don’t understand why that soldier would try the stairs when he had to grip on the handle bars just walk on a straight flat platform, come on bro. Like I know you’re excited to get a robotic leg but let’s be smart about this. And now the dude has brain damage. What I didn’t like about this plot was that Hunt was constantly crapping on Callie. Telling her not to pin the guys against each other, telling her that the first guy falling was her fault, and then saying she didn’t know the guys. And then the end of the episode he tells her that it wasn’t her fault, that it was an accident. MAKE UP YOUR MIND HUNT!

Herman: If she keeps screwing people she might get a STD, though I guess that doesn’t matter since she might die from a brain tumor anyway. Like I get that she’s dying and wants to live life to the fullest but you can’t just go around screwing your fellows. Though almost half the doctors in that hospital have screwed their interns/residents…. so never mind. I still don’t like the character of Herman, I could just do without her. And I don’t like Arizona when she’s with Herman but guess what! Amy Shepherd might be able to save Herman’s life. How predictable…

Jo & Alex: We only see a bit of them in this episode but they’re so damn cute together. Both damaged in a way, both came from hard upbringings but proving to be brilliant surgeons. I really like them together and I hope this is Alex’s forever girl. He’s been through so much when it comes to relationships that I just want him to be happy.

Hunt & Amy: I see what Shonda and the others are trying to do. Slowly, but gradually, get the audience comfortable with Amy and Hunt together, even trying to get the audience to root for them. Yeah I see exactly what they’re trying to do!

Ok let’s talk about that last scene between Meredith and Derek. The boiling point, The explosion! Derek makes the call right in front of Meredith and the look he gives her while making and talking on the phone. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that look before and it just makes me wonder how the two can ever come back together. This is the point that could break the camel’s back.

How to Get Away With Murder – Kill Me, Kill Me, Kill Me (MidSeason Finale)

OH MY GOD! We finally learned WHO KILLED SAM! But that’s not all. There was a twist that I don’t think ANYONE saw coming. To the tweets!

 

First can I just say how happy I am that we won’t ever have to watch that damn bon fire scene anymore! Seriously, if I had to see that damn fire and that cheerleader be flipped into the air again I was gonna flip, and not in the gymnastic way. Anyway let’s get to the actual show.

So first of all let’s talk about how Sam is crazier than we originally thought he was. The way he spoke and attacked Annalise, and then the way he attacked the students. Home boy definitely killed Lila because if he didn’t why would he have acted so crazy?

We find out who killed Sam, Wes (aka Harry Potter) but everyone had a part to play in the murder. Can I just say the way this “murder” went down is the same way half of the murders in Bones play out. If they had just gone to the cops int he first place and told them what happened no one would be trying to cover up a murder. Sam went after them, there’s no doubt about that. They were protecting themselves, even after Wes bashed Sam’s head in they could have still cried self defense. Don’t get me wrong, I’m no law student but I am a normal American citizen with common sense and common sense tells me it’s better to come out with the truth than to lie and cover up a murder.

Bonnie (aka Paris) hit a real low in this episode. Home girl kissed Sam, told Annalise and then got fired, did something creepy with a random dude, and then hooked up with Asher.

Ok, let’s talk about the twist. THE TWIST!! I will say, Annalise is one smart ass woman. Calling Sam’s phone, leaving a message, going to Nate’s place, and then calling Bonnie to see if she knew where Sam was. Home girl knows how to set up an alibi and make herself look like a concerned wife. Towards the end though when HP said he was sorry and all of the sudden you hear Annalise, “Don’t be.” CUE DRAMATIC MUSIC! This explains HP’s insistence to burn the body, Annalise was telling him what to do. That she’d take care of him, because obviously there’s some weird relationship going on between them.

Let’s talk about the rest of the group. It’s only a matter of time before Connor and Prom Queen (aka Michaela) crack. Neither one of them was really that sane before the murder and neither of them look like they can even handle driving a car now. It’s weird how calm Quiet Girl (aka Laurel) is though. Like she’s been waiting this whole semester for some exciting shit like this to happen. Part of me wonders if Laurel is happy they killed Sam, because now she’s part of this inside club, a murders club with these people forever. And Rebecca and HP, well those two have been confusing me since day one and I doubt i’ll ever figure them out.

One last thing, can we talk about the fact that in some magical miracle way Sam survived that fall. I hear cracking! And I’m no doctor or physicist but I’m pretty no human could survive a fall like that, especially with the way he landed. And even if he could survive the fall he would have been knock out and probably unconscious for several hours. But then again I’m not a doctor.

So I’m assuming the rest of the season will be about them trying to hide the fact that they murdered Sam. I just wonder what season 2 is going to be about.

The Walking Dead: What Happened and What’s Going On

Welcome back everyone! How was your break? What did you do during the break? Did you rewatch old TWD episodes? Did you start reading the comics? Or did you just continue watching your other shows like me? This episode was… Well this was one of those episodes that I think took some people by surprised and people either liked it or could have done without it. But I think we can all agree that if you watched this episode live there were more commercials than actual show content. But let’s get o the tweets!

 

So like I said in one of my tweets, I told my fiancee’s cousin that someone had to die, that there were too many black people. I ended up being right! Ok, let’s dive into the episode.

What I Liked: – The group has finally left Georgia! THANK GOD! I kept wondering when they would leave that state. In fact the group has made it all the way to Richmond, VA! God only knows how long that took,

– Michonne is really trying to be proactive and look on the bright side of things in this episode. She’s trying to come up with ideas so the group can stay in that neighborhood. She suggests they all become lumberjacks and use the trees to build a fort! She even says that what they’re doing isn’t living. It’s not true living.

– Tyreese dies. I know some people aren’t going to like this but let’s be honest, Tyreese has never been that strong of a character. He was one hell of a babysitter but he was just too soft and over-emotional for me.

What I Didn’t Like: – I understand television shows make a lot of money from ads and commercials breaks but I felt like this was just ridiculous. Not exaggerating, there was a commercial break every five minutes. I felt that I saw more commercials than actual show content. I think it’d be nice that maybe the network, for once, would give us limited commercial break. I’m sure they could afford it.

– The flashes of pictures at the beginning confused me, like it probably did with everyone. Even the random moments of radio chatter confused me. Of course as the episode went on things became more clear but it just wasn’t doing it for me.

– The ghosts were just freaking me out and I found them to be annoying, especially the governor and random white dude. It’s like part of me could see what they were trying to do but then the other part just thought they were trying too much.

– Since when can a zombie open a door? I specifically remember one of the zombie twins being in a room, behind a closed door. So you mean to tell me that he somehow managed to open the door, sneak into the other bedroom like a ninja, and bite Tyreese? Now I’ve seen some ridiculous things in my life before but that had to be the most ridiculous.

 

What now: Sasha has now lost her “boyfriend” and her brother. It makes me wonder if this will make Sasha strong or if she’s just finally gonna lose her marbles. And what about Maggie? Maggie lost her father last season and then her sister this season. How long until SHE cracks? And what’s the road trip to D.C. going to be like? Apparently they made it all the way to Richmond from Georgia in one piece…

Faking It – Busted (Mid-Season Finale)

Oh snap! Karma knows the full truth about Liam and Amy. The only question is can Karmy survive this betrayal in their friendship? We also find out in this episode who Theo really is. Wanna get to the tweets? Let’s go!

Where to start first? Where to start first…

Karma’s parents have been selling drugs. No surprise there. Though I really do agree with them, why is marijuana considered a drug and illegal? People smoke cigarettes and they have nicotine in them. Nicotine is a drug and cigarettes have been proven to be a cause to certain illnesses and deaths. Don’t see anyone outlawing that. Just sayin… So yeah Karma’s parents go to jail for selling drugs. I don’t think anyone was surprised by that. What is surprising, but not really, is the fact that Karma would rather go to jail then talk to Amy. When your best friend betrays you the betrayal is real. IT’S REAL! So what does Amy do? She punches Anthony/Theo so she can go to jail as well. Speaking of Anthony/Theo…

HE’S A COP! Ok, I’ll admit that I did not see that coming. I thought that maybe he was in the witness protection program or that maybe his dad was a drug dealer or something. Did not see the whole undercover cop storyline coming. So that just leaves us with this: Will he come back for Lauren? Obviously he lied to her when she asked if anything they had between them was real. His commanding officer was standing right there beside him. How would that look is the 20 year old rookie said, “Yes, I fell for a 16 year old while undercover.” Come on now! I just wonder if he’ll somehow come back for her, because honestly I think they’re good for each other. Even through this tough time and heartbreak one good thing came out of all of this:

Lauren accidentally let’s it slip/yell that she’s intersex. Something Lauren has been keeping to herself now the whole school knows and I’m not even surprised by the school’s response. Of course now people want to help her with her campaign. Hester High is all about being different and embracing peoples’ differences. Karmy won homecoming in a landslide because everyone thought they were lesbians. (Still don’t understand how there aren’t more lesbians at that school). But now that Lauren has come out I think she’ll find that her popularity will skyrocket and Lauren might even become a little nice and gentler. Usually when people finally unload something that has been keeping them weighed down for so long they become a bit nicer.

Shane outed his former (possibly now current) boyfriend, but it’s ok because Duke has now come out to the world and he also revealed that he’s in love with Shane. I’d like to state that it is NEVER ok outing someone and the outing usually doesn’t end well like this one. Television.

Liam gets the internship/study thing he wanted to take him away for a semester but decides to give it up to help Karma and her parents. Because of this he now has to give up his art dream but hey! It seems like he might be getting Karma back so there’s that! I guess…

It seems like Karma and Amy made up but it’s gonna take some time. After all Karma did not put the necklace on. I don’t know if anyone else was paying attention to the Amy-Reagan relationship throughout this episode though. I believe that Amy really does care about Reagan and wants to be with her but until she can fully give up Karma I don’t think the Amy-Reagan relationship is going to last unfortunately. As long as Amy still loves, is still IN LOVE with Karma she’s never going to be able to be truly with Reagan.

The ending got me and I’m pisses. Of course the trailer they put out weeks ago made it seem like maybe it really was Amy and Karma having sex. But it was all a dream! But here’s the interesting part. It was a dream inside a dream and it was Karma’s dream! Meaning that Karma was dreaming about her and Amy together, which then turned into a dream of Liam and Amy stating they tricked Karma into trusting them but still! There’s some hope!

This episode was so-so for me. I’m not really on any pines and needles to see what happens next. Thankfully this is only the MID-SEASON finale so there’s still a lot more to come.

The Originals – The Map of Moments (midseason finale)

We are family, I got all my weird vampire family with me. We are family, get up everybody and kill! That’s exactly what they would sing at a Mikaelson family reunion. It’s midseason finale time and heads are rolling and blood is spilling in this episode of The Originals. But at last there is some… hope. To the tweets!

My favorite part about this episode? The fact that Klaus and Hayley are finally reunited with their daughter. The beginning of the episode where Hayley’s face lights up when she sees her daughter and then gets to hold her. I’ll admit, a small tear came to my eye.

This episode was all about concocting a plan. Concocting a plan that would help protect Hope and Cami and end Mama Witch. The plan worked, kinda sorta. Let’s break down this episode by seeing what happened to each character.

Elijah: Elijah is still suffering from what his mother did to him. He keeps seeing the red door and how he attacked his first love, Tatia. He also keeps reliving the image of the younger him stabbing the current him. At some point during the episode Elijah actually contemplates taking Mama Witch’s deal and becoming human. Of course he’s also thinking about this because of the images that keep replaying in his head. But don’t fret because something good does happen for Elijah in this episode. He finally has sex with Hayley! Granted it’s after Hayley tells him about the marriage and he tells her that she should marry Jackson. But hey, why not finally have sex with her all over the house before she gives herself to Jackson. Yep, makes sense to me.

Hayley: She finally finally gets to see her daughter. They say there is no stronger bond out there than between a mother and her child. But it also breaks my heart a bit when we all realize that it can’t stay this way forever, Hayley can only spend but so much time with her daughter. Good news though! Hayley finally gets laid! Probably the first time she’s been laid in over a year, and it’s with the man she’s been pining for over a year. Oh my God, just realized that before Elijah the last man Hayley probably had sex with is Klaus. So Hayley only has sex with Mikaelson brothers. Kinda like how Katherine only had relationships with brothers, before she died.

Rebekah: I’m glad Rebekah is back. She’s funny and clever and the only Mikaelson to have truly kept her humanity. This episode once again shows that the only thing Rebekah wants in life is family, a true good family. I believe that’s why Rebekah and Klaus have always been close, because they both want the same thing, they just go about it in different ways. We also see in this episode once again that Rebekah has and will always be on Klaus’ side and no one else’s. Yes there have been moments and years where Rebekah has plotted again Klaus, but in the end she will always be on his side. The flashbacks show us that Rebekah had a chance to join her brother Kol, to help get rid of their “Klaus problem” but instead she decided to turn against Kol and tell Klaus, leading to Kol getting daggered, which then leads to Rebekah getting stuck in a witch’s body that is stuck in a mystical house. See, when you backstab someone, especially family, they remember that for a long time (about a century) and eventually they get you back.

Klaus: What an episode for Klaus! He finally gets to see his daughter and it’s so weird seeing Klaus as a dad. This episode once again shows us that Klaus does have a soft side, and even though he does a few mean things here and there throughout the episode you can see that Klaus truly puts his family first, of course the family that hasn’t tried to kill him constantly. Speaking of family constantly trying to kill him, Klaus finally gets his mom. He’s killed his mother, WITH VAMPIRE BLOOD IN HER SYSTEM! HA! Ain’t payback a bitch?

Cami: Poor poor Cami. Cami is like the Matt of this show. She’s the only human and she’s constantly surrounded by supernaturals and because of that she keeps getting screwed. From almost having her body taken over by an original, to having to deal with Fin, who states that while she was sleeping with one vampire she was half in love with another. Which makes me wonder if a Klaus-Cami-Marcel triangle will happen or if this show has taken a cue from The Vampire Diaries and won’t do love triangles. Let’s be honest, love triangles get real old after several episodes.

Davina: We only keep her around because she’s a witch. Let’s be honest, Davina is like the Bonnie of this show, except that she’s annoying and only 3/4 people actually like her. At the end of the episode Davina and Kol are going to continue their plans to get back at Klaus, to get rid of Klaus. I guess the only character development for Davina in this episode was that she kissed Kol. If you can call that development…

Kol: Kol is the same person he’s been for hundreds and hundreds of years, he only does what’s good for him and he’s always screwing people over. I was suspicious of Kol throughout the whole episode, especially when he kept bringing up Christmas 1914 (the day his sister ratted him out and he got a dagger). Kol got what he wanted, the diamond, and payback for Rebekah screwing him over. I will say Kol came in handy, kinda sorta? Kol is like a damn coin, he flips every chance he gets.

Marcel: Marcel didn’t really do anything in this episode. He just continues to show how much he cares about Cami.

Mama Witch: She’s a bitch. She gives the ok to Mikael to kill her own child. What kind of mother makes a deal with her crazy ex-husband to kill her son, the son she claims to love oh so much. But it’s ok because karma finally gets Mama Witch. Though I guess I can’t call her that anymore because… well you can’t be both a vampire and a witch.

I liked this midseason finale. It was interesting and I’m excited to see what the rest of the season brings. How long will it take Klaus and the others to find Rebekah? Will Kol and Davina continue their plan to take down Klaus and will they succeed? Will Mama Witch choose to become a vampire or will she die? What is Mikael up to? Will Hayley really marry Jackson and save her pack? What about Elijah, will he continue seeing visions? But lastly, since Rebekah is stuck in the house who’s gonna take care of Baby Hope now? So many questions!
